About Us

Our story at UC Davis began in April of 1992 when 91 women were initiated to form the Zeta Nu chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta. Since then we have grown to be one of the best organizations on campus.

Located on campus, across the street from the ARC, and just a quick walk from the Rec Pool and the new football stadium, we have the largest sorority house at UCD. We house 33 girls, within a live-in house mother, and a chef.

Our members are actively involved in UC Davis athletics, student government, campus clubs, and have jobs in the local community. We hold the highest sorority grade point average, and have been the recipient of the Excellence in Programming Award from the Panhellenic Council two years and running. We are also the back-to-back defending champions of Sorority Football.

Our local philanthropy event is Rock Our Casa, a concert we throw at our house to raise money for CASA. You can also catch our girls volunteering with CASA, walking at Relay for Life, wrapping holiday presents at the local craft faire in December, and working to make our community a better place to live.

Zeta Nu is one of the few “Golden Kite” chapters of Kappa Alpha Theta and considered to be one of the best chapters in the country. Zeta Nu consistently brings home awards from Nationals, upholding our outstanding reputation not only on campus, but across the United States.
